Research Centre

Our college is as an approved Research Centre in Education(No. Ac.E1.A3/23144/2014 dated 7.7.2015) of University of Kerala.

Vision

Our Research Centre stands for promoting research in education and visualizes professional development of teachers, student teachers and faculty of education as well. It aims to create a common platform wherein practitioners take responsibility of their own professional development.We recognize that learning is socially constructed and take place through interaction with others. The Centre also aims to provide opportunities for such fruitful academic interactions and acts as a channel for development and transmission of knowledge besides organizing research colloquiums, seminarsand workshopsat national and international levelsto meet the required standards of research excellence. All research activities are managed by the research team in the college. To maintain a remarkable momentum,our research centre has been promoting collaboration between other research centres of Universities and other institutions.

Objectives

1. To enable the researchers to understand the best practices existing in research and articulate the standards of frameworks for promoting collaborative endeavours.
2. To raise our research profile and maximize academic reputation.
3. To uphold academic excellence aimed at addressing various educational problems
4. To provide a platform for generation of novel areas of educational practices blended with societal concerns.
5. To establish the institution as Centre of excellence through responding to the social demands from time to time.
6. To observe the highest standards of integrity in respect of all actions inculcated in research.
7. To align strategic planning and core values in the area of research
8. To enable interaction between faculty, students, scholars to enhance research opportunities.
