The Arts Club of the college consists of an elected student representative as Arts Club Secretary in the College Union and two faculty members. The students, with the proper guidance of the faculty members organize programmes every week. Students are encouraged to take part in various inter collegiate festivals and university youth festivals. Celebration of Arts Day highlights our students' creative ambition and drive and gives them a chance to showcase their hard work and inspiration from a diverse range of genres including music, poetry, theatre, visual arts and more.
In order to impart direct training on environmental issues, the SABARI Nature club has been formed in the college. The club is affiliated to the WWF India. Two members from the teaching faculty are the advisors of the club with a student coordinator.
Bhoomitra is the registered Biodiversity Club with Reg. No. KSBB/BDC/03082 under the Kerala State Biodiversity Board (KSBB)of Pathanamthitta district. All students and staff are members of this club. The club fosters environmental consciousness and eco-friendly life behaviors among the members specifically to conserve biodiversity. Field visits, awareness programmes, workshops on biodiversity conservation and fostering eco-friendly practices, environmentally important day/week observations, nature camps, etc. are periodically conducted.
To create awareness about the socio-economic relevance of tourism for the development of the state, a tourism club is functioning in the college. There are 50 members in the club.
A women’s study unit is functioning in the collegewith the roles of assimilating knowledge on women empowerment, understand the gaps in gender relations in the society and its implications on women's development’and transmit it through research and documentation. This forum discusses and tackles the problems of women in general. A teacher serves as the coordinator of the unit.Executive members and student coordinator is selected every year for its smooth functioning. Various activities include seminars, workshops, charity services, legal awareness programmes, etc.
In order to produce teachers with social commitment, the college actively engages student teachers in community engagement through extension and outreach activities. Various social service activities are undertaken by the Extension club to nearby schools, villages, communities, and other governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Vimukthi Club is functioning as part of the Anti-Narcotic Campaign launched by the Govt. of Kerala to highlight the seriousness of alcohol/drug/substance abuse and to create awareness among the people, especially youth. Debates and seminars relating to this menace are conductedfor augmenting and strengthening awareness programmes against drugs and alcohol use and addiction.
Critical and scientific study of the most popular and influential films are taken up by this club. Documentaries as well as feature films are screened focusing on its educational, humanitarian and social values. For this the film club monitored by a coordinator in charge helps to create an opportunity to nurture a flair of cinematic art, create talented actors and instill new modes of producing short films through modern digital avenues.Film Fest is conducted every year.
As per the directions of RUSA, our college constituted Ek Bharat Shresht Bharath Club on 7th January 2020. 20 students from different optional subjects were selected as club members. It was decided to observe the 2nd Wednesday of every month as EBSB day. The club exhibits news, pictures and other information about the paired State in the display board set up for the purpose. It also chalks out different programmes for each month. A YouTube channel was launched including many tourist spots of Himachal Pradesh. Essay writing competition on the culture of HP was conducted for students. Reports of programmes are submitted to the State EBSB Cell under the leadership of Club Coordinator.
The cell plays an important role in a student teacher’s college life since the ultimate aim of teacher education is to make an individual self-sufficient and self-reliant with full job satisfaction. A teacher is one not only responsible to deliver subject knowledge but also need to impart moral values for life. Apart from the class counsellors, a team of teachers provides counselling service to the students. Service of professional counsellors is also extended to the students. This help students navigate the academic and social challenges, as well as provide support for personal, social and emotional issues.

Grievance Redressal Cell deals with all types of grievances, complaints and malpractices including those received from students, faculty and other stakeholders. It promptly tries to offer solutions for their redressal in periodicalmeetings of its committee. Complainants are requested to submit complete details of the complaint as required in the complaint registration box put in the college campus. Principal is the Chairman of the committee with other faculty members to address issues.
As per the mandate of the UGC, the College has constituted the Anti-Ragging Cell to prevent any form of ragging on and off the campus. It represents the statutory Body to ensure that campus is free from any kind of ragging. The cell formulates strategies to prevent and discourage this menace.
This committee is constituted against the backdrop of sexual harassment and abuse, more particularly at academic institutions. It aims to combat sexual harassment, violence against women and ragging at the collegeto be proactive by developing a conducive atmosphere on the campus.
