BHOOMITRA (Biodiversity Club) of N. S. S. Training College, Pandalamin collaboration with Central Academy for State Forest Service (CASFOS), Dehradun organized a two week Workshop on ‘Biodiversity Conservation and Natural Resource Management’ from May 22nd(International Day of Biological Diversity) to June 5th (World Environment Day) 2021 in Google Meet platform.The themesfocused were:

  • Amphibians of Kerala and their Conservation
  • Ecosystem services and benefits

TOGETHER WE CAN PREVENT COVID-19

On 15th June 2021, English Association ‘MANTRA’ and IQAC conducted a webinar on the topic“Together We Can Prevent Covid-19”. International Seminar
A three day International Seminar was organised in association with Council for Teacher Education, Kerala State on Institutional Interventions to Bridge Competency Gulf in an e-world. Eminent personalities from various fields, teacher educators, research scholars and students actively participated in the programme
National Seminars
A three day National Seminar sponsored by UGC was hoisted in our college on 5th,6th,&7th September 2013. The topic of the Seminar was positive schooling through positive education: traversing classroom discourses and strategies. Sri.T.P.Sreenivasan, Member, Higher Education Council, Kerala inaugurated the Seminar. Eminent scholars in the field of education, psychology and health education blessed the occasion with their excellent classes on those days.
A one day seminar on world without Violence-Learn from Mahatma was inaugurated by Dr.Radhakrishnan Chairman, Gandhi SmarakNidhi and Dr.Asok Alex Principal, Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, several B.Ed students from training colleges presented papers on the theme on 21th August 2013.
One day training programme on Human Rights Education for Teacher Trainees sponsored by National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi
An Inter University paper presentation competition for M.Ed students was held on 14th December 2013 and an induction programme ‘Discover Yourself’ was conducted at Veda gram, Omallur on 17.12.13.
